The indigenous people of Australia are famous for their use of Songlines to navigate the continent. These hidden passageways, also known as Dreaming Tracks, consist of songs, stories and dances relating to the natural landscape that allow those familiar with the "songs" to travel the land without the benefit of external roads or physical maps.
Sadly, progress has "weakened" these ancient tracks. Modern developments have "overwritten" many sacred areas, creating patches of white noise that disrupt the songs and lead to disorientation and isolation. Travellers have lost touch with the natural landscape and, as a result, have strayed off their paths.
Our own lives are similarly overwhelmed by white noise. It obscures our goals, our desires, even our sense of self. It impedes our progress with self conscious behaviours and self destructive habits that prevent us from achieving our potential and providing a litany of excuses for our failures. We have lost touch with our true selves and allowed our individual songs to fade in the static. We wander off course, bewildered by the noise of our fears, self conscious thoughts, and anxieties. We seek a voice of clarity that can help us reconnect with our unique hidden passageways; that can lead us to increased self-awareness and regain the path to personal success.
